Burnsville Attorney’s New Video: Contemplating Divorce

Video Marketing for a Divorce Attorney

I recently created a new video for a divorce attorney who specializes in Family Law.  Her practice covers the entire Minneapolis St Paul area, but as she lives south of the Minnesota River, her ideal client lives south of the river as well.

There are a lot of attorneys in the Family Law area, and to stand out Amanda needs to be visible online.

She tried using google Adword Pay Per Click advertizing, but found it ineffective.

As I reviewed her adwords campaign, I decided one of the issues that was hurting its success was the fact that she was sending clicks to her home page.

Adwords Pay Per Click Advice

I suggested that she would be better off creating a landing page for her clicks.

I explained that she could then create landing pages for each specific service and or type of client she hoped to serve.  That way a person contemplating divorce for example would land on a page about divorce, rather than a page about divorce, child custody, adoption etc. etc.

This bullet point focus, I explained would help people realize they were in the right place when they landed on the landing page.  They would thus be more likely to take the next step. In this case, that would be to pick up the phone and call for an appointment.

I also suggested that a video on the landing page would be helpful. It could tell the key aspects of her story in a friendly manner, and hopefully get people to pause a moment while on the page.

This extra time serves as a pattern interrupt for the person who otherwise was flipping from one website to another. This extra little pause, to watch what is still a very short video, may be enough to allow them to slow down enough to consider taking action.

Video Creates a Mood

Most attorney websites are pretty similar. They tend to be on the conservative and frankly boring side.

People contemplating divorce are in an unhappy place emotionally. We hoped to create a friendly, approachable image with the video we created.

One that was inviting, and able to cut through the grief and anguish the prospective client was feeling.

We hope we hit the mark with this video.

We welcome your constructive criticism.

The Key Guys Specialize in Car Keys

Minneapolis based locksmiths, The Key Guys have taken the idea of specialization to the extreme.  While experienced locksmiths with downloadthe entire set of skills and know how, they have decided to focus on a niche market: Cutting Car Keys.

Today’s car keys are more complicated and more expensive. Not only do they open doors and start the ignition, they have anti-theft features, automatic alarms, and automatic opening features.

As a result they do cost more, and require more sophisticated attention to detail that you are likely to find in the local hardware store.

One of the most frequent issues they deal with are lost car keys. This is especially important as these days many car dealers only provide a single set of keys with a sale.

New Post and Video for The Key Guys

New Video Posted for The Key Guys

Just finished creating a new video for The Key Guys.  In this case, I am posting a link to the blog post I created as well about Broken Car Keys

The Key Guys have a Home Page that is not very SEO Friendly, so I am trying to develop individual posts that might rank for their particular keywords. In this case we are focusing on the term “Broken Car Keys.”

Broken Keys are one of the reasons people call upon The Key Guys.

So I titles their blog post with the key word and then added images, at least one of which has the term broken car key in its Alt Tags.

And then the video I created was posted to YouTube with Broken Car Keys in its title as well as its description and tags.

If you click on the above tag, it will take you to the page to watch the video, still only a “C” in quality but at least serviceable.

I will also include it here for your viewing convenience.

Another Video, this time for a Residential Concrete Contractor in Minneapolis

I recently posted a video I created for the Key Guys, Minneapolis Locksmiths that specialize in Car Keys.

Today I want to share a video I created for Bob Morris Concrete.  They do Concrete Walkways, steps, patios, driveways and basically any residential cement work you may need in Minneapolis and the South Suburbs.

This video does not have any voice over, which is what went less well in my Key Guys Video.

The Key Guys

Audio need work.

I just created this draft video for The Key Guys, but need to redo the audio.

Somehow, I managed to compress the volume in Audacity when I was working on it.  And the result is too quiet.

I have been exploring camtasia, and while I have learned some of the tricks of the tricks of the trade have a ways to go.

But I am not embarrassed. I am proud to have produced a product if only because I am once again growing my skills,

The intention of this video is not to win an academy award, but rather to place it in the internet world where it can garner backlinks for The Key Guys

They are locksmiths specializing in making and replacing lost car keys.  A small niche, but one they do exceptionally well. It takes sophisticated equipment and know how to reproduce today’s smart keys and associated key fobs.

I will write more about these guys in the future.

But for now, here is my video.

I will be doing an new one this week which I will also post here.

Hopefully, you will be able to see a distinct improvement as I get more experience and practice.
